Biography
Dr. Yurasek received his Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from Midwest College of Oriental Medicine and his PhD from Guang Zhao University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He is Associate Professor at National University of Health Sciences, and past Chair of the Oriental Medicine Department, and Vice President of the World Federation of Acupuncture Societies (WFAS). He received his initial training from Drs. Yinlun Han and Diabetes Specialist Dr.Wang Yang, both 3rd generation practitioners from Shenyang, China. Dr. Yurasek has been in practice since 1985 and teaching since 1988. He has presented various research papers at 4 Annual Society of Acupuncture Research Meetings and 2 World Federation of Acupuncture Society Meetings.
